Search Warrants Executed at Ashley Furniture Stores

 

 

Yesterday, July 13, 2010 the Shasta County District Attorney’s Office Bureau of Investigations served search warrants on the Ashley Furniture Stores in both Redding and Chico, California. The service of the search warrant at the Ashley Furniture Store in Chico, California was executed with the assistance of the Chico Police Department and the Butte County District Attorney’s Office.

 

The search warrants were executed as a continuing investigation in the multiple complaints received from consumers regarding the failure of Ashley Furniture to deliver purchased merchandise. The complaints involved purchases made prior to May 21^st, 2010.

 

The investigation will continue as investigators review hundreds of purchase records and conduct additional interviews to determine if a crime has occurred.
