DOMESTIC VIOLENCE OFFENDER SENTENCED
TO 13 YEARS PRISON
February 5, 2010
Today,
February 5, 2010, Robert Kliebe was sentenced to thirteen years in prison by
the Honorable Judge Cara Beatty. He must
serve eighty-five percent of his sentence before being eligible for
parole. Kliebe was convicted by a jury
of the domestic violence charge of Corporal Injury to a Cohabitant and Second
Degree Robbery on November 10, 2009. The Defendant beat the victim up resulting
in stitches to her nose; he then demanded forty dollars from her before fleeing
the residence. The Defendant also had a 2007
prior strike conviction for Assault with a Deadly Weapon out of

case was investigated by Deputy Nick Thompson of the Shasta County Sheriff’s
Office and Mike Wallace of the District Attorney’s Office. The case was prosecuted by Deputy District
Attorney Michael Hemker.
