REDDING MAN TO RECEIVE 15 YEARS TO LIFE IN CHILD MOLESTATION CASE

Dale Neel entered a plea today in a case where he was accused of molesting a 4 year old victim.  Neel pled guilty to charges of Penal Code sections 288.7 and 288(a).  He is set to be sentenced on February 18, 2010.

Neel will receive 15 years to life in state prison.  The defendant must serve 85% of the sentence before he is eligible for parole.

The case was investigated by Matt Stoker of the Redding Police Department and prosecuted by Deputy District Attorney Curtis Woods.
