REDDING MAN FOUND GUILTY OF LEWD AND LASCIVIOUS ACTS BY FORCE

 

Robert Michael Rodeski was found guilty by a Redding jury today Lewd and Lascivious Act by the use of Force.  The jury’s verdict came after two days of testimony starting last week.  The victim was five years old at the time of the forcible act.  Rodeski was on felony probation for Transportation of Methamphetamine at the time of the molestation.  He was found to be in violation of his probation based on this case.   

 

The defendant is facing 14 years in state prison for this offense.  The defendant must serve 85% of the sentence before he is eligible for parole.

 

The case was investigated by John Poletski of the Redding Police Department and prosecuted by Deputy District Attorney Curtis Woods.  Deborah Heide of Victim Witness assisted with the victim involved.
